Off theGLASS Tournament

  Saint Augustine's College, Raleigh NC

Thanks to all the teams that participated and made OFF theGLASS successful for a second straight year.  This year we hosted teams from the following cities:

Holly Springs, NC - Raleigh, NC - Charlotte, NC - Greensboro, NC - Fuquay-Varina, NC - Richmond, VA - Chapel Hill, NC - Durham, NC - Garner, NC

Game 1 Results: FCAA Elite 11u Bracket

The madness began Friday night, with the Carolina Tornados rolling into Raleigh, NC looking to set the tempo for the games to come.

The Carolina Tornados took a commanding 12 point lead into the second half only the see the Sting come charging back to bring it within 1. The Tornados pulled off a close one, sealing it at the free throw line and winning 28-26.  The  East Carolina Sting  will put this one behind them as they  prepare  to host  the Greensboro Galaxy .

Game 2 Results: FCAA Elite 15u Bracket

The Garner Flames continued their dominance by handing the Carolina Tornados a tough loss on a Friday night. The Garner flames pulled away quickly and never looked back in a very impressing win.  The  Carolina Tornados taking advantage of a tune up game  looks forward  to hosting the Carolina Comets who will arrive from Charlotte, NC Saturday morning.

FCAA 16u


Championship Results: FCAA Elite 16u Bracket

The Carolina Mavericks survived a strong comeback and outlasted the CIC Warriors in the 16u Championship game.

FCAA 15u

 

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 15u Bracket

The Greensboro Galaxy was just to big and too fast. With height advantage at almost every position, they were able to beat a very strong and sound Garner Flame team for the 15u Crown.

FCAA 13u

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 13u Bracket

The East Carolina Sting survived the Garner Bulldogs and the Fuquay Lady Fury through pool play, then went toe to toe versus the James River Blaze out of Richmond, VA.  After jumping out to a 12point lead in the first 4 minutes, the game was all but decided as both teams simply traded baskets the remainder of the game.

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 12u Bracket

The Garner Flames 11u team came, saw, and conquered the 12u division hands down, with one impressive win after the other.

  Ballin in the CAPITAL Tournament

  Saint Augustine's College, Raleigh NC

Thanks to all the teams that are coming and made Ballin intheCAPITAL successful for a second year.  This year we are hosting teams from the following cities:

FCAA 17u

 

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 17u Men's Bracket

This Is It survived a pool play that was decided on a point differential to upset the Carolina Rams of Durham, NC for the 17u Men's Championship thus keeping the crown in Raleigh .

FCAA 11u

 

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 11u Men's Bracket

The Durham Ballerz wasted no time in proving why they are one of the top up and coming teams in the triangle. First they  took care of business by allowing no team to even think about pulling any kind of upset during pool play. Second they went toe to toe with Team Phoenix in front of a packed arena and ended up taking the hardware back to Durham, NC to add to their accomplishments for this season.

FCAA 14u

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 14u Bracket

Competition might be an understatement and the Lady Neptunes of Virginia survived the Durham Lady Ballerz during a thrilling double overtime  playoff game.  The  Wake Forest Wizards handed the  FCAA East Carolina Sting  a tough loss in front of the home crowd.  This made for a very  exciting  game at the beginning, but  that double overtime  just took too much from the Neptunes as the Wizards cruised to a ten point lead and never looked back.

FCAA 13u

 

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 13u Bracket

The Youngsville Bulls, pretty much a new team with an old attitude towards winning, took the challenge of the Chatham County Lightning and walked away with a joyous tournament win.

FCAA 10u

 

Championship Results: FCAA Elite 10u Bracket

The FCAA East Carolina Sting tried to keep the momentum from the state tournament and use it against their cross town rival, but the Fayetteville Warriors lead by Post, moved the series  to 6-1 with pressure defense and capitalizing on mismatches throughout the game.
