As a club we focus on the fundamental skill development of our players in all divisions instead of just playing as many games as possible.  We have found that college coaches start their evaluation process as young as the seventh and eighth grade, to get a good start in the recruiting process. We need to be training our student athletes toward the collegiate goal incorporating strong fundamental training along with the highest level of competitive play. This vision has been expressed to everyone in our administration and coaching staff as they continue working towards this goal with the highest level of integrity, to aid in the athlete's development.
One of the flaws of the current club system is playing in so many games and so many travel days result in little time for practice, or for individual drill time where the needed skills are developed.  Secondly, we do not label players as "Elite" or "Starters" because somebody has to start the game.  That is one way we eliminate that misconception that there are future WNBA Hall of Famers playing on our 12u teams. Our coaches know that winning the game is essential for team and club morale, and a player's participation throughout the course of a tournament will build the self esteem and confidence of that player along with developing a deep bench when they really need it.  When players are put in the position to compete they are given the opportunity to put their training into action.

Players are trying to get noticed by college coaches and they believe that the best way to get seen is to go out and play as many showcase tournaments as possible, and that is what they are being sold on. In reality the fact that if a player is not good enough or do not have the grades, it does not matter how much exposure they get. Skill development is becoming less and less important in club basketball but we believe that somewhere in this system, there needs to be a new energized focus on this skill development, and we are here to provide it.

The exposure services provided by our organization is managed through Future Collegiate Athletes of America, theFCAA.org. This organization maintains the  academic and athletic performances of every player and has it readily available to provide upon request to a college coach.  In addition to attending showcase tournaments, and Basketball Combine events our players can easily be found on our website and their progress can be tracked during the time that they are active in our organization.

In closing, we believe that the combination of player development and player participation backed by one of the most recognized exposure services in the country, we can help these athletes obtain that college scholarship they are working so hard for.
