WE ARE IN THE ALL BRICK BUILDING DOWNSTAIRS (ASK FOR BURNSIDE UPON ARRIVAL) SO YOU DON'T MISS OUT. Check the calendar fordates and locations. No matter what your skill level, come on out andlearn the game of basketball the way it was meant to be played.These Sessions will provide your child with a solid foundation leadinginto the 2008 Travel Basketball Season along with providing asupportive environment for the girls to bond and get to know theirfellow teammates. This is also a very important part of our teambuilding activities, which also allows parents to socialize and preparefor the upcoming season. Your Child's Age Group = Her Age on January 1, 2009 Teams for all levels ( NC and Surrounding Areas ) Competitive(D1), Regional(D2), Development(D3) We recommend that your child participates in our weekly Work Out Sessions. These Sessions will provide your child with a solid foundation leadinginto the 2009 Travel Basketball Season along with providing asupportive environment for the girls to bond and get to know theirfellow teammates. This is also a very important part of our teambuilding activities, which also allows parents to socialize and preparefor the upcoming season.

The FCAA East CarolinaSting Basketball Club, a non-profit development program providingopportunities for young women ages 8 through 18 to improve their basketball skills While maintaining a healthy level of personal fitnessand self esteem. The East CarolinaSting will make a positive difference in the lives of young women,primarily through the use of sports and community service, to help themachieve their highest potential as they grow to become more responsibleand confident. We will create leaders within the community to hold thehighest standard of ethics and we will strive to be the best at what wedo.
Practice Location Directions: From Raleigh / Cary / Outer Beltline I-40 to Exit 299 (PersonSt/Hammond Road). At exit ramp light, turn right heading (away from Raleigh) southonto Hammond Road. Turn LEFT onto Rush Street (1st traffic light).Cross railroad tracks. Turn LEFT onto Garner Road (1st traffic light).Garner Road YMCA is 1/2 (.5) mile on the RIGHT. From Raleigh / Louisburg / Inner Beltline I-40 to Exit 299 (PersonSt/Hammond Road). At exit ramp light, turn left heading (away from Raleigh) southonto Hammond Road. Turn LEFT onto Rush Street (1st traffic light).Cross railroad tracks. Turn LEFT onto Garner Road (1st traffic light).Garner Road YMCA is 1/2 (.5) mile on the RIGHT. From Garner / Benson / Clayton Area Get onto Garner Rd. from HWY 50 ( Corner of "Toot-n Tell" Restaurant),make a left onto Old Garner Road, heading to Raleigh, drive roughly4-5minutes through 4 stop lights. Make a right into the Main GRFYMCA entrance (Main Entrance for the Main Building. Do not go to theauxiliary gym (JDL Building). From Barwell (East Raleigh) / Clayton Area Take Rock Quarry Rd. ( heading to Raleigh) Make aleft onto Cross link Rd., make a right onto Garner Road, heading toRaleigh, drive roughly2 minutes, make a right into the Main GRFYMCA entrance (Main Entrance for the Main Building. Do not go to theauxiliary gym (JDL Building). From Garner / Wake Tech Community College Area HWY 401 ( heading to Raleigh) Make a right onto Tryon Rd., make a leftonto Garner Road, heading to Raleigh, drive roughly 3 minutes, make aright into the Main GRFYMCA entrance (Main Entrance for the Main Building.
