Raleigh Flight versus CIC Warriors

Raleigh Flight down CIC Warriors to move on to the second round of competition an awaits the winner of Game 3 that has Raleigh's Finest in a match up against Achieve Your Dreams.  The Raleigh Flight traded baskets with CIC Warriors heading into half time with a 15 to 15 tie. After a fairly short speech by Coach Washington, the Flight came back and went on a 8-0 run, and at one point lead by 10pts.  CIC Warriors stormed back to come within 2 points, but good clock management by Raleigh Flight did them in. CIC Warriors will play the loser of the Game 3.

Bonner Academy versus Reaching Your Goals

The second half of tonight's double header matched  up Bonner Academy against Reaching Your Goals. Bonner Academy broke loose, totally dominating the scrappy play of their opponent.  This did not last for long as RYG, using a heavy rotation simply wore Bonner Academy out with fresh legs hitting the court almost every 4 minutes.  This game almost turned into a street ball highlight reel as both teams gave the crowd showmanship with some impressive acrobatic dunks after RYG pulled away by 12pts.  Reaching Your Goals will host a prep team from the Bahamas, which is coming from an unexpected bye in the first round.
