RDU Sting Women's Semi-Professional Basketball Club is welcomed to boost women's participation and membership in adult basketball, describing the relationship between the Garner Road Family YMCA and RDU Sting Women's Semi-Professional Basketball club as an excellent example of a cooperative approach to supporting this grass-roots sport in the triangle.

Anyone interested in working with our organization is welcomed to signup for the many opportunities in club administration, marketing and publicity, community relations, media production, statistics, and operations. We also have great intern opportunities for high school and college students looking to get some valuable experience under their belt while working in a field that they enjoy.

Our regular season will conclude with our participation in the WBCBL Atlantic Regional Championships.

The WBCBL Atlantic Regional Playoffs are hosted and funded by RDU Sting Women's Basketball and we are in need of and accepting sponsors, volunteers and game day performers such as bands, dancers, step teams and a singer for the national anthem.
