Coach Clifton is a native of New Orleans, La. She played her High School basketball at Leesville High School in Leesville, La. where she set both the records for most points scored (male or female) as well as most rebounds (male or female). Coach Clifton was also the first athlete male or female to earn a Full Scholarship to a Division IA University. Coach Clifton began her collegiate career at Tulane University and assisted the Lady Wave in making their first ever Post Season Tournament appearance in the “Big Dance” the NCAA Tournament. Following the birth of her son Coach Clifton transferred and finished out her collegiate career at Kentucky State University where she was a Pre-Season All-American pick. Coach Clifton led her team in scoring and rebounding averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds per game. Coach Clifton turned downed several offers to pursue a Professional Career to focus on raising her son.

Following her collegiate career Coach Clifton was the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at St. Augustine’s College for 3 years. Coach Clifton now trains Collegiate and Professional Athletes both male and female in addition to her Coaching duties for the East Carolina Sting Organization.
